1. Acceptance of Terms
Please review these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy before using Latin Dance Korea ("the Service"). If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms when required by law or when the service or its operations change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes, and where required by law we will request additional consent.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Providing accurate and complete information • Promptly updating any changes to your information We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are inactive for extended periods.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to discovering and sharing Latin dance events in Korea. You must comply with all applicable Korean laws and regulations.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not: • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent event information • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service • Use automated systems to scrape or extract data • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers • Harass, abuse, or harm other users • Use the Service for commercial solicitation without permission • Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. User Content
By submitting content (including event posters, text, and images), you: • Grant us the rights reasonably necessary to display, index, recommend, summarize, create thumbnails from, archive, and promote that content within the service • Represent that you own the content or otherwise have the legal right to submit it • Acknowledge that we may use automated tools and AI to process and extract information from your content • Agree that content may be reviewed, restricted, removed, or corrected when required by law or our operating policies You retain ownership of your content. However, records that have already been published may be retained to the limited extent necessary for service operations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or archival purposes.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Latin Dance Korea and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed are our property or the property of their respective owners.
8. AI-Generated Content
Our Service uses artificial intelligence to extract event information from uploaded posters. You acknowledge that: • AI-extracted information may contain errors or inaccuracies • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying extracted information before publication • We are not liable for any decisions made based on AI-extracted data
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (authentication providers, payment processors, event venues). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • MERCHANTABILITY • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE • NON-INFRINGEMENT • ACCURACY OF INFORMATION • AVAILABILITY OR UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your requirements. Event information is provided for informational purposes only.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LATIN DANCE KOREA AND ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill • Event cancellations, changes, or no-shows • Inaccuracies in event information or AI-extracted data • Actions or omissions of event organizers or venues • Any damages exceeding ₩100,000 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Latin Dance Korea and its operators, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: • Your use of the Service • Your violation of these Terms • Your content or submissions • Your violation of any third-party rights • Any dispute between you and another user or event organizer
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. Upon termination: • Your right to use the Service immediately ceases • We may delete your account and associated data • Provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect (including liability limitations, indemnification, and dispute resolution)
14. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service or any features.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Seoul, Korea. You agree to waive any right to participate in class actions against us. Any claims must be brought individually within one (1) year of the cause of action.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
